That made me giggle. Why would she block her hubby?!

I had that problem with multiple messages ages ago. I think it was the other person's phone, not mine. If it's just from one person, ask him to get his phone checked or reboot it.

Glasgow

Is it actually a problem? Just delete the multiple messages and keep the ones you want to keep.

Receiving messages doesn't cost anything, does it?

yes its driving me insane... could silence my phone...yes... but ilike it when it was working properly .... when it beeped...i had a text... anew text

now when it beeps i think 'here we go again... which one am i gonna get again this time? '

when it started last week...i thought the man was having a laugh... sending me the same text over and over again... then it carried on ... for 5 or so days...

so i suggested to him...he reboot HIS phone....

then today ... started getting not just his messages... but my husband's 'I love u' texts were a bit too sickly sweet frequent... so i asked him how many hed sent today .... and of the 12 ... he had sent 1 !!!!

Have you tried simply removing your sim and putting it back in again?? A friend of mine had a similar problem, he took it to a shop, they did the above and his phone has worked fine ever since.

Take sim out, wipe it with soft dry cloth, and put back in phone. That should work otherwise it's a visit to the store, or call to the call centre

For repeat spammers, on most smartphones you can customise the alerts/rings for a contact, so I add them as a contact e.g. spam1 spam2 etc and set ring/alert to be no vibrate and no sound.

A lot less hassle
