Apparently there are forever dangerous chemicals in our blood and firemen have higher levels than most.

A breakthrough has detected that this can be lowered by regulary donating blood. What the buggers don't tell you is if you receive blood then are you receiving more chemicals. I remember that after having a tattoo you could not give blood. Should firemen be stopped from giving blood ..

Given the choice between dying or receiving blood with slightly elevated chemicals, I think I'd take the blood?

There's already a shortage of blood donors, let's not exacerbate

Who are these buggers, Tom, and why do you think they're not telling us things?

Are they sharks?

Let’s not make the blood donor situation even worse than it already is eh?

My wife is alive thanks to this blood. Perhaps a fireman donated it, and I’ll be eternally grateful for them maybe having done so.

If you needed blood you're not going to worry. It's screened to make sure it's safe to give anyway.

Delightful Bliss

We already have micro plastics in our blood, what's a few more chemicals if we are alive

Camberley occasionally doncaster

As soon as my leg tattoo is finished I will be able to consider giving blood. I've spent years getting jabbed against everything, or extended periods in nasty countries or getting tattooed.

Do we know what these chemicals are? Are they harmful? Presumably they'd be diluted in the donated's body anyway.

And ultimately, if I'm receiving blood then odds are good I'm in a pretty dire situation, so no, I'd rather receive these "chemicals" than end up dead.
