People who only think about themselves or what is important to them

People who only talk about themselves or what is important to them

People who don't respect or fail to appreciate you have gone out of your way for them

People who pick up on inconsequential issues and go on and on and on about them

People that don't realise that a compromise involves both people making concessions

Can you tell that someone outside of Fab has irked me this weekend ?

I try not to take things said on here at face value, especially if the phrase has anything like bottoms attached to it. I have had way too many private messages asking if know what something actually means, when clearly my innocence is shining forth.

Manchester Area

People who want to know each and every facet of your life even though it is nothing to do with them.

People who make out they are your friend when its clear to others that there is a hidden agenda going on

Well meaning?? people who are always telling you how to live your life , what to do, when and who with (avid dislike of amateur "life coaches here)

People who slag you off behind your back but haven't got the guts or bottle to tell you to your face

And yes these people do exist in both the swing world and vanilla world

On this forum the things that irk me are:-

The popcorn reference

When posters make a statement and type FACT at the end of it when they have no bloody idea

The overuse of exclamation marks when someone is trying to get back at something youve said, knives and guns scare me, exclamation marks never will

People who say, 'i thought this thread was about.....' and then go on to say something which isnt funny

The word debate after the end of a post

When the clique word is mentioned, the example of 'you dont go in a pub and talk to everyone in there'

Similarly the 'name and shame' example of 'well I arranged to meet you last night and you didnt show'. see how easily it can be misued - come on we've been having these same examples for years, think of something new.

Nothing else bothers me on the forum, and im equally sure that things I say irk others too.

In real life, people who display humorous car stickers - my other cars a ferrari, again this has been going around for about 30 bloody years, it isnt funny anymore

"I do get a little.... no a lot cranky when people leaving me out of the gossip circle. I cant even get in the knitting circle for fucks sake. People shouldn’t be gossiping anyway its so sad. "

People often do what they say they don’t without even realising it sometimes…. this includes talking about people.

There are no shortages of people slaging off their boss, their neighbour, their ex’s – oh jeeze the details you get about ex’s …………. yes they are all real people being talked about.

I have no problem saying I have criticised people for their actions or what they claim to be their actions, or if you prefer the term ‘gossiped’, because I have…. especially if it has directly involved me. I wouldn’t want to pretend otherwise.

However, people don’t need to wonder if I have spoke about them… they’ll have been more than likely the first to know.

So I have no problem with others if they want to talk about what people have done or said, how could I have a problem with it if I have done it myself. If someone wants to criticise me so be it, as long as they are prepared to raise their hand and admit they said it.

But I do get cranky about people who lie. People who make up crap about other people and then deny saying it.

People who blame others for what they have done so they can be the victim.

People who when you ask them directly, say they would never say such a thing… even though you have a copy of the messages sat in front of you.

People who jump up and down when someone says something about them and then pretend they haven’t been doing the same…. and it’s more than likely the reason they were being talked about in the first place.

In fact if you think about it… as soon as someone starts whining that so and so has been saying this that and the other… they are actually doing it. I strongly doubt anyone is getting the full story in these one sided situations.

I have more respect for people who hold their hands up and then say it like it is. I may not like what they say, but it’s got to be better than saying one thing to me and another in private to someone else.

As the saying goes….. I would sooner be criticised for something I am, than held in false praised for something I am not.
