Loathe!! like I’ve heard some use it to proper catfish some men as it makes the face totally different. Like not like a filter, it’s proper deep fake CGI shit.

Nah I think it’s really obvious when people filter their face. Look closer. It really is obvious. So many on here. Especially hot pics. Some filter their body so much too that bits disappear and they obviously don’t realise . It’s hilarious. |

Oh I get that as I can spot them a mile away even the convincing ones but maybe the mods need to be brought up to scratch on the app as there’s a few too many getting past them |

I spoke to a guy or two who literally got catfished that way, and it was used by guys who pretended to be women (trans and cis)
Scary.
Obviously what did they expect the outcome to be if not confrontational and a “IM OUTTA HERE”

Apps like these + photoshop are pretty common these days. I’ve seen very popular users in top 10 pics that have very clearly used photoshop to alter their pics and forgotten to take out the obvious smudges
Ultimately it’s their loss because you’ll know on a meet. But you can’t help but feel bad for anyone that falls for it either.
But then again, altering your look via old pics, flattering angles, lighting and filters, all the way to make up and good fashion choices is nothing new. Which is why nothing beats a video call + a social first |

That’s really bad. What’s the point! Only happened to me once. Met a lady, drove about 45 mins to meet for a social as she seemed really nice and was gorgeous. I could just about see the resemblance. I was so angry. It’s so deceitful. |
