I have 100+ meet verifications on my singles profile. Trust me, the number of verifications doesn't make people more willing to chat.
It's not the number of verifications that matters.

Verifications are a funny thing...
Veriications are more often than not a bit of lamp post pissing or flattery in order to gain a second meet.
No one would leave a negative veri, and if they did, no one would show them.
There again if veri's were shown by default, the admins would spend all their time arbitrating between people who ha given vexatious veri's.
The frustration for me is "must be meet verified". All a meet veri proves is that one time, someone proved they were a person who could turn up once.
and why oh why do people repeat veri someone? Is it to show they had sex with someone more than once?
When I had veri's, I had them hidden as I find the whole process a touch distasteful yet a necessary evil. Can't suggest a better way of confirming someone is real and looks vaguely like their profile though...

They can be a double edge sword. I've chatted to people who are put off by my my veris, others, they're the reason they message. I wouldn't focus too much attention on getting them, if I were you. Just be honest, respectful etc... the rest will follow.
Agree with the bio suggestions mentioned though. |
