I'm on a bit of a country and western thing at the moment so right now my top 2 sad songs that make me feel inexplicably happy are:
Clay Pidgeons by Clay Foley (beautiful song - listen to it if you've never heard it before)
and
D*unken Angel - originally by Lucinda Williams but the cover version by Alynda Segarra is just hauntingly beautiful |

BTW and FYI - the song D*unken Angel by Lucinda williams (but with a better and even more haunting cover version by Alynda Segarra) is actually about Blaze Foley and how he was murdered in a bar fight - which is just about the most Country and Western thing ever |
