This seems to be a question that is asked a lot in various ways. Since returning I’ve been asked it myself and asked it of myself, so dear fabbers; why are you here, what are you looking for and what do you want? |

I'm not sure...
I'd like to continue exploring my sexuality with someone. But maybe dip my toes slowly in to meeting other people? For coffee/drinks/lunch and maybe more. Friendships with an element of fuckery and fun but the fuckery isn't always required.

I think that a fair few people want that!
In my experience, part of it is what you’re willing to compromise on.
The adventures and experiences are a different story and rely on you, the rest relies on others and those buggers are tricky! |

Honestly? Mainly for something to stare blankly at while I'm on the loo or a boring conference call.
There's a smattering of keeping in touch with friends, but I mainly do that away from here. Occasionally it's just to post sarcasm on the forums, sometimes I post waffle. I'm not looking to meet.
I guess the above amounts to, I'm not looking for anything other than something to pass time.

When illness or injury has curtailed activity , as they now have, the forums have provided a link to a world that currently isn’t accessible to us both. Where age and looks bar me, the male half , from real involvement , I can sometimes laugh, sometimes share experiences, sometimes look at the pictures or live cam of people I would love to meet but won’t be. I can rant if I wish,but tend not to, I can dream, in some instances form temporary friendships to chat.
It’s a social outlet really.

I look to make friends with likeminded people - It’s a cliché but it’s true.
I love to explore things, it’s like being on a journey. I find it so fun to share moments and act out things with others that have been fantasies, fetishes and kinks.

I just enjoy meeting different people socially, the conversations, the laughter & sharing of experiences. I’ve been lucky this last year to make some good sexual connections too, enjoyed a few firsts that I’m continuing to explore with them & others.
I’m not one to be beholden to one person, I can’t give one person the time it deserves as don’t get much free time and it is long gaps between meeting up. The people I meet need to be understanding, patient and ok with that & the fact I meet others, which they are. Funnily enough we were just having this conversation between ourselves. We don't particularly want anything but we would like to make some new like-minded friends, ideally not a million miles away but we are happy to travel if needed. Just people on our wave length, good conversation and lots of laughs, if sex happens as well then that's a bonus. |
