Oven chips or fried in oil?

I've never been a fan of oven chips. Well it's just never the same as proper fried chips. But air fryers are supposed to be between these two methods. Some people (adverts) insist it's even better. So for a few years now I have pondered on getting one of these gadgets. Anything to ease cooking.

When I ate chips. I used to cook them in the oven but they weren't ever frozen.

Never had a chip pan, scare the bejus out of me. Hate oven chips. If we ever have chips it’s a dash to the chippy whilst dinner is cooking or fresh potato’s oven cooked.

I now make them from fresh at home since getting my air fryer, which has a rotisserie that I can slot a rotating basket in to. Just a simply quick spray with olive oil, pop it in and leave.

I just saw a YouTube video on what you should do before using one. And one of the must is, you should warm the machine up at least 10 minutes before use.

Yes, I learned this through trial and error, and certainly makes all the difference
