No on the socks with them
Tend to try and stay away from open toe shose
Apart from bedroom ware
Not good for walking around in after a little bit the strap at the toes ends up dig in and hurthing |

I wear sandals. I love them in the summer. Mine are strappy. Can't even remember which shop I bought them in as it was years ago. They are getting close to falling apart and I'll be stuck trying to find another comfy pair 
And no to socks, for me. Others can and do look fine in them  |

Birkenstocks have some great slipper looking sandals that I absolutely LOVE. |

No way your Son is cooler than you?!  
Socks and sandals is cool but not a regular look. However unless you’re on holiday, sliders must always be worn with socks. |

I'm old enough to have seen my Grandad wear socks with sandals, I've been brought up to understand this is wrong. My Grandma wore what she called "Jesus sandals" nearly every single day of her life and never with socks or tights. She was hardcore

It’s ok because flip flops are brilliant footwear as long as they’re worn when it’s warm imo. Hate seeing them on grey days when it’s raining. |

I used to wear socks with sandals for going to the airport when flying to the West Indies in January. They kept my feet warm so who cares how that looked.
No point in taking UK winter shoes if they would not be worn for a month or so. |

Comfortable strappy walking sandals, no socks. Any other type of sandal just flops around and is annoying to wear.
Also I keep telling the youths they're "sliders" are sandals, which they absolutely hate being reminded of. And worse they wear socks with them. |
