Does anyone else here likes to keep up with mates with voice notes?
I do with most of my closest friends and with my bestie, we literally send so many that probably turn out to be like… 20-30 mins catch up convos (Scattered in 15 voice notes of
1-2 mins perhaps)
Some notes are freaking hilarious and I’m so glad we are able to sort of play it back and laugh about it
Anyone else is a fan of it? Anyone else who absolutely hates voice notes?

I don't mind them tbh but I can't stand my voice so only do it with people I'm really comfortable with.
My cousin constantly sends me voice messages that are 10 minutes long and I want to fucking kill her! A voice note can not be more than two minutes or it just ruins the fun.  |

What about putting the phone to your ear like your on the phone so it plays quietly as you’re on the phone (for tv times) |

Short and brief voice notes are fine. A quick one time listen to keep the convo flowing when typing is not an optional, or tone of voice is important to be put across. 
Anything longer then just make a phone call! If it is not important then just wait to type it out. I cba having to relisten to a voice note multiple times to try and remember all of the points I'm trying to respond to. |

Do people even talk on the phone anymore it gets greeted with shock most times when i prefer a call to a text. Equally I send voice notes or I’ll even send a video so you actually know what and how I’m saying something rather than just a text. Body language and tone are hugely important for me in a conversation it’s not just what you say but how you say it. |

We love leaving voice notes for each other…on Telegram it plays the next one and the next.
Our voice notes are sometimes filth, sometimes vanilla.
It’s a bit strange hearing moans and then followed by ‘then I was in Waitrose and seen the spaghetti on offer’

I bloody love voice notes and use them all the time. Sometimes it’s so much easier and funnier to describe something than attempt to type it and lose the comedy. Plus it’s ace recording something stupid just because. They make me smile. |

They are OK, but I find it annoying when someone says something and you want to recall it later, also it's annoying if the kids are around as I can't know for sure if the content is suitable.

Is this like the voice message on WhatsApp?
I do like getting them but hate doing them. I think it's because there's no immediate interaction, chipping in with thoughts plus I cringe at my own voice.
It's nice if you've not heard from someone for a long time. They tend to be from my grown up children so maybe more popular with the younger generation.
I now feel very old
