it doesnt have one, lift the ford badge at the front and insert the key

normally under the ford badge on the front. the badge swivels and then you need to use your key to release the bonnet

Oops my bad I just know I have to pull the thing under dash board before I can open bonnet

Actually it depends on the model year, the new focus 2011 onwards doesn't have a swivel badge and the catch is inside, once the bonnet pops lift it slightly and feel to the left for a lever and pull to release

The Mk1 and Mk2 focuses had them hiding under the badge, as did the Mk3 Mondeo - think they stopped doing it as they were rusting up, I had a 98 Focus and the bonnet lock rusted away to nothing lol

not only that the alarm trip in the lock was allways going off

There is only 1 real problem I can see with this car and that is how to open the bonnet. There is no bonnet release button inside the car, instead you have to lift the Ford badge on the front and insert the key. This could cause a problem for people who don't know how to do that. I knew someone that spent a long time trying to work out how to open the bonnet.

its behind the barge on the front it moves then you have to turn the key one way then the other to open it
