Evening all. I prefer the women I meet to be smooth, I’m always trimmed very short but have sometimes been questioned why I’m not smooth either when I prefer women are. So, I’m thinking about shaving my bits. Any tips on the best way to do it? Do’s, don’t’s. Do women like shaved cocks and balls?… |

"A cut throat razor but not first thing in the morning after the night before. "
I've shaved with a cutthroat for years.. never been that brave.
My top tips.
1. Hot bath
2. Use conditioner as a shaving foam rather than shower gel.
3. Stretch the skin and take it a bit at a time.
4. You may need multiple passes taking the razor in different directions.
5. Post shave moisturiser is ideal
6. You may find talc useful to stop your balls sticking to your inner thigh on a day to day basis.
Oh, should have probably put trim as close as you can first.. |

I’ve never used it but just don’t leave it on too long |

I always run a landing strip and I have found the following works:
I always shave in the shower and make sure I have soaked properly first. I use a cheap woman’s Venus throwaway razor and Dove Deeply Nourishing shower cream instead of shaving foam or gel. Always shave with the grain of the hair and do it lightly and gently. Take time not to scrape the surface of your skin - I usually lather two or three times to have a few shaves to get a really nice smooth finish.
When I get out I moisturise with Dove moisturising cream to cool the skin down.
I will tend to shave every couple of days as it is easier that way.
Haven’t nicked/cut myself or got razor rash in years with this approach. |

I use hair removal cream as I wouldn't trust myself with a sharp object down there
I leave it on for about 7 minutes, legs akimbo so it doesn't touch the inside of my thighs and then use the scraper to get the cream off and wash the rest off in the shower |

Spot on....this is great and well explained. Would just like to add-Hair conditioner is a top tip. Just buy the cheapest stuff. It's designed to coat the hair and this will also make the hair swell and give it volume. That will naturally help lift it and make it easier for razor to cut.
Hair grows in diff directions for everybody and following the general rule of shave in direction of growth means yr always gonna miss bits. So use gentle pressure and short strokes go over the area, rinse blade n reapply more conditioner if u need to go over it in the opposite direction to pick up hair u've missed. If u do it like this u won't irritate the skin.
Moisturiser is yr best friend but personally I tend to wax more. I'm kinda hairy n with shaving am always prickly next day. Shaving does not cause the hair to grow back thicker. Shaving cuts the hair shaft blunt so the hair loses its natural taper. Waxing removes the whole hair shaft from the root allowing the hair to grow back in its natural shape with a taper so feels finer n softer on regrowth. Like already mentioned lasts longer, just more expensive n not half as bad as u think once u've tried a few times n got used to it. |

"Hair removal does leave a smooth finish tho I found it grows back a lot quicker compared to shaving. Would like to try waxing tbf."
Male wax therapist here I suggest u try an easy area rather than jump straight into intimate wax. Try yr back or bum |

I was told by a good friend who shaved himself down to zero, that it 'itched like mad' as it began to grow back. Very embarrassing as he sat through lengthy NHS management meetings having to scratch at his trousers. He swore never to do it again.
I personally prefer a close trim with no.1 setting on clippers, but even with them you have to be VERY careful that a ripple of scrotum skin doesn't go between the clipper grooves. Even a tiny nick bleeds like crazy and is difficult to stem. You don't want to go into a sexual encounter with bits of red dotted tissue all round your balls. |

I use a Wahl Aquablade everyday in the shower. I just lather up with soap or shower gel.
It is good for all over. Well apart from my face as it prefers a wet shave. |

I shave mine at the top of a flight of stairs balancing on a step ladder…in the dark with my left hand… whilst arguing with BT customer service on the phone. |

Thanks all. Really appreciate it. I’ve heard the trick about using conditioner. I shall attempt a small area. I’m flexible but not flexible enough to reach my back and arse |

"Don't, really not a fan of the bald look. You're a man, I would expect you to have hair. Personally I think it looks really odd "
Thank you. Appreciate the input. It’s not something I would like on myself, would only do it to please a partner if it was her preference. But do feel a little hypocritical saying I like the women I meet to be smooth and I’m not… |
