So after a few pics that show my short hair I’ve received a mix of comments from ‘it looks great’ to ‘you’re clearly gay’…who knew a hairstyle determined your sexual preferences but hey it got me thinking…
So ladies/gents what’s your thoughts on short haired woman? Have you an urge to stroke some shaved bits…or does it do nothing for you
By no means will I be growing my hair based on the comments I’m just nosey

I really like women with short hairstyles. They can look very striking. Not fussed about stroking shaved bits haha but from my own experience a head massage on freshly shaved scalp is divine! Both giving and receiving! |

C had short hair when we met but she’s grew it out more (I love the longer hair too).
What’s more important than my opinion is what she feels good with. I’ll still fancy the arse off her with long, short or no hair.
Confidence is sexy and you and C have it in abundance…you really suit short hair

I am not the biggest fan of short hair, but so many women do pull it off well and you're a great example of that. I'd be too scared to do it because I think you need a slim and petite face to really make it work. I can't imagine you with long hair. |

I have no personal preference, but do love it when someone feels confident in themselves and short hair is no difference!
Does it indicate that you are gay, right wing, love Sinead O'Connor or Ellen Ripley in Aliens 3... of course not!
I do think I would enjoy running my hair across the short stubbly bits... especially if that felt good to the recipient...
Short/shaved hair elsewhere...

Sure you cant grab a handful, you cant tie it, but you can do other things instead.
I’s rather have someone who is comfortable in their own skin, and not feel they have to live up to some one else's standards.
Your hair style is unique and makes you instantly recognisable.

Every girl who I have had a relationship with has had short hair.
When I met the wife her hair was only a few millimetres long on the sides n about 2 inches on top, it was a 1950s style flat top n it looked great on her n a lot of people back then thought she was a lesbian. |

Your hair looks great. For shaving, I like, what I think they call, an undercut. Kinda shaved, but with top layer over it (probably haven’t explained that well, but there's a lady at work who has it and it looks great)  x |

I know it will depend on the individual (and I think some faces do suit it better than others, like all hairstyles!), but in general, I love it!
Really enjoy the feel of my hand running up the "wrong" way in very short hair (sounding crazily vain, but the same with mine when it's just cut!).

I think short hair looks amazing on some women, you included OP. I've recently had about 6 inches cut off mine and won't go any shorter I don't think.
After I got married I had my very long hair cut into a pixie style and sure enough got the lesbian comments! |

I've had short hair twice. Once as a teenager when I bleached it blonde and got loads of lesbian comments. The next time after I had baby number 2 as I thought it would make life easier and I'd have less grabbed and pulled out.
I liked it at the time but eventually got bored and grew it out. But looking back I don't think it really suited me. I don't have the right face shape, and wearing glasses doesn't seem to help.
I'm jealous of women who can rock that haircut though |

My humble opinion is that some people can absolutely rock the short hair look, while on others, it can look odd.
A bit like any facet of how someone presents themselves I guess, it all depends on the wearer as to whether it will suit them or not.

Also, Dancer, your OP reminded me of a Judith Butler clip I have watched many times. The way we look can affirm certain ideas about our identities. - the way you dress or style your hair might lead to assumptions about your sexuality for example. You look incredible but I am not sure if I am swayed by the whole nakedness and boobies as usually short hair isn't my thing.
Who knew these things are on a case by case and now apparently levels of flash basis.

When I had shaved bits I used to love having them stroked the wrong way, was a real tingle moment. Now I just love having the same bit stroked and my hair wrapped around someone's fingers. Short hair absolutely looks awful on me, so by default I go long. |

I had mine really short about 12 years ago, definitely didn't get as much attention, everyone including me prefers it long.
I guess you have to suit it! I like other people with pixie cuts and really short bobs, I miss the shaved bit at the back of my neck lol |

I think you look good with short hair but you have the confidence, style and face shape to pull it off. Me? I'd look like Mr Potato Head.
I don't think short hair is less feminine or long hair more so - it depends on the person rather than their hair. And why is traditional feminine held up as something we should aspire to? Anyway, I think any hair length on a woman could be attractive, it really does depend. |
