My nan’s spare room.

I use a new word each day for variety, although I think it makes it a bit more difficult.

Done in 4 today, managed a 2 yesterday.

It’s like Wordle but you have 9 tries to get 4 words simultaneously

I use Stare as they're all common letters, followed by pound if that has no hits.

Leeds (Home) / Sheffield (Work)

Ouija or Adieu

4/5 vowels ticked off.

Depends what you include under “Vowels” though.

There are better words to tick of pre/suffixes though.

Eastbourne (she/they)

According to the guy who created wordle the optimal start word is Crane.

I however use Store, then Chain if that has no hits. Two words made up of the ten most used letters in the English language

"Stare or an anagram of"

STARE is what I always use as my first word as well. If I get nothing right or only one green then my next word will be MOUND. In the unlikely event this doesn't help then my third word will be PICKY

AUDIO, followed by CHEST. Get the vowels out as soon as possible.

I use a different word each day - usually something relevant to my mood, or what's going on.

I prefer to include at least 3/4 of what I label as 'common cluster' consonants, like THRLP - letters that can go at the start, middle or end of a word. Vowels (and Y) are then much easier to determine.

My average is 3.

"AUDIO, followed by CHEST. Get the vowels out as soon as possible. "

This for me as all vowels and popular letters with S & T …never got a one or two. But regularly get threes and fours.

R and a are quite common, and it gives you 3 potential vowels.

I like that one and tomorrow I'll start using it as I think it's better than STARE my current go to option and it still allows MOUND to be 2nd word or ROUND if R is a yellow in first round
