From the land of haribos.

I watched an interesting program about it, they talked about the war in ukraine and how that will effect the production as ukraine is the biggest wheat producers, also one of the worlds top exporters of barley and sunflower seeds, the conclusion was that it could lead to a global food crisis, what is your view, do you also think that there could be a food shortage?

North Bucks

Western world will get by better than the third world.

As Ukraine send a lot of their produce to Africa which will now cease for a while. There will be increased competition on the global market for them which they cannot afford to compete with.

I expect a famine or two.

One of the business units for my company is wheat.

There’s always talk of this at work with the Ukrainian war.

But then with the cost of living continuing to rocket that’s going to have a massive impact on our other business units also.

It’s very grim times for so so many

I think even if there isn't one... That the media will create one, that, like petrol prices, the markets will use the excuse to profiteers and huge increases in prices.

It's funny though how we tend to get surprised by world events, pandemic, war... I'm not sure why anyone would think it won't have an impact on their lives.
