Does anyone have any first hand experience of this?

Laying here at 3am just quietly wondering...

I don’t need diagnostic advice, my consultant has that under control, quite literally want to chat with anyone who’s been diagnosed x

I’ll reply privately on any comments, thanks x

Oh and it’s the parathyroid not the thyroid

Aylesbury

I'm not sure exactly what this is, but I have a friend and my mother with underactive thyroids. I hope you find somebody to chat with about this.

I remember seeing a letter from my Heart consultant to my G.P asking him to change a particular medication which was working fine but it was damaging my Parathyroid gland.

I had no idea what that particular gland was until I Googled it.

Interesting, I was diagnosed in 2019 but didn’t suffer many symptoms until recently.

I’m not on any heart meds x

The medicine in question was Amlodopine it suceeded in restoring my heart back to a normal rhythm but was causing serious damage to my Parathyroid gland at the same time. my heart went back to irregular rhythm and that is where it is now.

Yes, I suffer with that actually. Not constantly but it is one of the symptoms. A few times now I thought I was having a heart attack.

It’s not a nice feeling at all, did they try you on anything else?

Six attempts to shock it back to normal rhythm, all failed I am now on a diet of Apixaban Ramipiril and Bisoprolol.

That's got nothing to do with the condition Pixie is referring to though.

CBD eases a fair amount of symptoms of various types. But it's not helpful in all cases or for all things.
