Only get work diary on Fridays to know where I'm going each week. But now and again get jobs few weeks in same place. Like now I'm in kendal for 3 weeks. Greatyarmouth 2 weeks after that. |

To be fair I kinda have this issue as well. Only difference is I could be anywhere on may given day. Might give the "meet now" a try. I tend to set myself local to where I am too see if that sparks any interest.
Fingers crossed for us all I guess |

"Yep I've realised kendal is a bit secluded lol. But stuck here for now with work lol."
Like I said - lunchtime music recitals, coffee mornings and perhaps a meeting of the WI - I can definitely recommend some options |

Assuming that it's tough for single men everywhere, including those who never leave their home town.
Some may want to meet travellers where there's limited potential for seeing them again. Many others will want to get to know people before meeting, when meeting it'll be a social before there's any hint of physical engagement.
For a travelling rep etc, that may mean that he'll have run out of time, before he's back on the road again.
Most people are not compatible with most other people. So you have to engage with lots, before they're narrowed down to the few who could be right for each other..
Meanwhile, the local guys are also messaging the local women too and there won't be the same pressure to get a meet sealed before a fellas checked out of his digs.
I'm curious OP. How well do you do with getting meets in your home area? Really successful? If you are or are not, have you considered why this may be? |

I dont bother looking for anything at home to be honest seeing as I'm only back home 2 days at most each week.
I totally agree with social meets first to actually see if the attraction is there fully.
And yep I agree with the traveling man thing aswell. I always say upfront how long I'm in the area for working, best to be straight from the off I think. |

"Unf op I don’t think women want to meet men travelling around the country. "
I totally understand that way of thinking.
I was in Inverness for 3 nights a month or so back and had a social 2nd night that went to fun full night. |
