Peterborough |
Cycling is not a cheap sport, closer to golf than football.
I've noticed that my club in Peterborough seems to be managerial or uni-qualified types, so I sort of know how you feel. Clicky vs busy vs we only have the cycling in common.
I can climb, so they know I'm not intimated by hills, 30 percenters in the Peaks are sheer bliss. Descents are another story |

Wiltshire and London |
I've got other expensive hobbies that involve clubs (joining, not swinging) and stuff, so I tend to do my cycling alone in the hope of bumping into others of like mind. There's one route around here where I have several times encountered a very shapely young lady. Hoping that might develop some time... |

The trough of bowland is one of my regular rides love it there "
Was our first route that way. Off to Loch Ness Etape next weekend. |

Snapped my rear hanger on Tuesday in your neck of the woods just north of Sandwich. blind bend me approaching slowly as was a van - both saw each other at the last minute and I jammed the anchors on and went over the handlebars. Helmet did its job - I’ve some scratches and bruises and a headache still but that aside very lucky. No one’s fault - the van driver was brilliant |

I was due to be riding this but had to pull out due to injury restricted training. |
