Because sometimes people take it too far and in to the extremes.
Some people won't have sex with those they don't connect with, sometimes some political views are too strong to ever consider being friends with somebody never mind sleeping with them.
Some have had their lives impacted quite heavily by certain political changes so like to distance themselves from those associated with that.
Bottom line, what does it matter if that's their own preference. High chance they wouldn't want to have sex with you for multiple other reasons anyway, being a tory won't be the primary one. |

I think you'll find it's the higher classed Tories that are ill informed and out to look after number one.
The conservatives support fox hunting, anyone who votes for that isn't worth my time or the pleasure of my company!!
Hope you'll find the more people are educated, the further they are from being right wing. It takes someone educated and with freedom of thought to not take all the bullshit they are being told by the Tories. |

Well I'm a pretty staunch Labour voter and Ginge is a true blue Tory, so it doesn't matter to us.
The content of the OPs post would be enough to put me off though.

I've met some really nice tories. They're not all out for themselves ruthlessly climbing a ladder of power the process of which began in boarding schools.
Some tories believe in civic duty and running the country for everyone, not just for the people who vote for them. Sadly they're quite rare. I'm a big fan of Kenneth Clarke and John Major particularly.
To quote the late great Iain Banks "I'm not saying there aren't decent people in the Tory party, but it's like sweetcorn in a turd, yes, you've kept your integrity, but you're surrounded by shit"
Like the lady here who said they'd rather shit in their hands and clap than fuck a leftie (fair play by the way, strong convictions) I'm not licking the sweetcorn from a turd.
Having written all that I'm really sad that we're as polarised a society as we are. I blame social media. Anyway, as we are, you might as well pick a side eh. |

Being properly educated in any ethical or even meaningful sense is to be taught how to educate oneself!
(Unless of course you mean a particularly elitist education where you are groomed to be of the leading class ahem.)
But people can also improve and educate themselves of course.
The day-to-day world of democratic politics is in my view the ultimate way people self-educate.
Which is why it comes down to two things:
1)The quality of the media.
2)The quality of the people inside (ie what they want of this world).

I think it has something to do with underlying values. For most people the Tories (and other any party) stand for certain values and attitudes and that is why they choose to express that in a profile. |
