My mate from down south just heard me say am having 2 rounds of toast with my dinner. He said a round of toast looked amazed and said a slice of toast where he came from . No way a round all day long |

Nah wouldn't call it a round of toast.
Possibly in a cafe on a menu with a breakfast where they bring out tiny triangles on a metal toast holder they might call it a round of toast.
If you said to me you were having two rounds of toast, I'd be thinking you were having 4 slices of toast!! |
