So, this is my 1st ever thread on the forums. Ive been reading a lot of rather unpleasant exchanges here recently, my mind really boggles about the lack of knowledge and 'isms' that people not only have but feel the need to share here.
I just want to start a nice, lovely, and loving thread. So please post something that has made you smile, or that gives you that warm and gooey feeling inside. Sending lots of love and hugs to all x |

Good morning
I have a warm glow feeling this morning because I’ve been up to sort the dogs out and now I’m back in bed with a latte, the radio on and listening to the rain outside. Plus my kids are still asleep (they are usually up early).
Hope you have a good day OP |

Lots of things because I'm actually a soft gooey mess right now to be honest. Hearing how someone feels about me, even if I might have said "nah" at first gives me the fuzzies. Hand holding. Nice words from friends old and new. Forehead kisses.
Sending you hugs OP, I hope you're finding reasons to smile today. |

"Taking my pup out for an early morning walk always puts me in a good mood.
Dropping him off with my ex though, whilst I work away, always makes me sad though "

"...can I go back and make my first post something as nice as this? Because mine was probably about balls or something similar.
I'm smiling about the cat I saw this morning.
He had Bowie eyes.
"
Nothing wrong with balls if they make you happy x |

"Watching my daughter in an actual movie, and she’s got a mention in the credits. She was a little over a year old when it was made. It’s ace.
Wow, that must be soo cool! X"
It’s proper cool. And something we can embarrass the poor girl with when she gets older. |

"Watering plants and spotting blackbird on her nest in a bush I planted a few years ago."
I love my garden birds. I have overgrown hedges and trees I'm worried about trimming in case I disturb the birds.

Welcome to the forum. Yes we all see some of those uncomfortable and unecessary posts but most people are friendly and share their opinion in a nice civilised manner. There are also lots of funny threads, most about cake mind so if you like cake you will certainly be fine.
I was fantastically happy earlier today as a dear friend had their first blood test clear after some long and nasty cancer chemo and radio therapy treatment. Unfortunately I also found out that another friend is sadly rather unwell and needed admission to hospital but I an hoping they will be OK. So a bit of a mixed bag really. |
