It's something I've noticed more and more recently, especially so since getting together with K, and even more so in the differences between the content of our social media.
For instance, I tend to get fairly inane adverts for things like shoes or viagra pills. K on the other hand has her feed flooded with gorgeous women wearing nothing but lingerie! A fact she quite enjoys. Where's the fairness in that?
How can we equalise the algorithms?

Unstall Facebook so they can’t snoop your history
Why let a company make millions off your data selling it to other companies
If companies want to know what ads to push me come pay me I happy hand over my data for 20-30k
It’s my data not Facebooks so why should Facebook get rich off it |

Mine are currently largely about running, which is hilarious, considering...... I did have a lot of ads for nice dresses around the time I was planning my social outfit.
Mr KC has lots of war game and computer game type ads, which make perfect sense!
No Viagra though |

I blame you're Manchester run fame for that
I don't even get the game ones! To be fair it's probably because I always turn off the cookies on websites... mmmm... cookies...

I agree, I've deleted my Facebook and Twitter accounts and the incoming spam has dropped dramatically. |

"Follow lingerie models and lingerie websites on Instagram. I can send some recommendations
Or I can send you a picture of me in my wonder woman pants? "
Happy for recommendations and/or sympathy pictures

"Mr Von M, I do believe you are fishing for lingerie pics
Would I do that? Here. In this beacon of chastity?

Short answer: yes.
Did you get anything nice? I won't offer, as pics of me in lingerie would result in an UNLOS |

"I get dating ads for old people
You and me both Nana! I also get viagra, cremation offers and some 18 year old called Lucretia who is desperate to send me nude photos of herself!! "
I get emails for viagra and from young women telling me they'll make my penis grow hard. If they can make me grow a penis I'd be very surprised. |

I don’t use social media much but have just had a peruse of my junk email box…
Apparently there are lots of hot Russian women waiting for me to get in touch..
Someone can help with my erectile dysfunction…
Bitcoin is going to make me rich..
And I’ve had an offer of a set of handmade knives for a bargain price..
I definitely need to reflect on my internet searches |

I just get spam from women who are interested in a quick fumble, Viagra or investments.
Occasionally I get one for an American Auto insurance or health insurance.
That's one of my favourites, especially when you read the small print.. oof talk about painfull.. your not actually covered for anything unless they deem it to be necessary and your locked into paying for the length of the contract unless they drop you, then good luck getting another insurance to cover 'Pre-existing conditions'. |
