The illusion that voting changes anything. It doesn't. The people sitting at the top table don't want real change because it would upset their gravy train. So they only promote people to positions of power who they can trust to maintain the status quo.
And that's why nothing changes. |

So true & even more so after Brexit, we'll never be allowed another referendum in this country.
How dare the British public get what they wanted, well the majority did anyway before anyone starts.
And that's why nothing changes."

It’s only a scam to those who never claim, always insure and take the cheapest policies they can find. The industry relies on them but nobody is scamming them they are just not thinking. |

I get my prescription from the opticians and then trot off to another cheaper place to get them, like Home Bargains, for example. I might look like Benny Hill in them but when they cost £2.99 you can’t complain! |

Yeah but do you also come out with 6 carrier bags of unintended crap.
I went for a bottle of washing up liquid abs cake out with
- out of date strange flavour pot noodles
- a string bag full of pebbles
- a crap frying pan I don’t need
- a huge metal kitchen bin for £5
- 24 Tim’s of chopped tomatoes
- a plastic fish
- miscellaneous live love laugh products that all broke within a week

To be fair A3ov and Right sector are a small fraction of the official and unofficial millitary of Ukraine. But the peoples Republic of donbas and wagner group have openly nazi units too.
A3ov have tweeted insanely riggt wing oppinions and there leader is a white supremesist. They've released videos of themselves doing war crimes for years.
Some of wagners home movies are sickening too.
And neither side out there have any respect for the articles of war or geneva convention.

Bags for life. Just give me a paper bag dammit.
The single pack crisps at the front of the shop, for about 65p. Go buy a multipack for double the price and have 4 or 5 times more crisps.
This also applies to small bottles of fizzy drinks. |

Ticking or stating no marketing preferences.....
Then finding they lied and they inundate you with emails, postal mails..and pass your info onto third and fourth parties.
Buying a soft drink from the pub and they fill it with ice....
I now say no Ice in my soft drinks. |

Get the test done. Get the prescription and use it to buy your glasses online. Its vastly cheaper and the prescription is exactly the same you'd get from all the overpriced spectacle retailers. |

Fuel prices. They used to fluctuate with the price of oil but after Russia invaded Ukraine and oil hit a record high of $126 a barrel the prices shot up and haven’t dropped since despite oil being $96 a barrel now. |

Similarly, the single person's allowance is only 25%, not 50%. It's just a fine for not being in a couple. |

When your fuel bills go up 54% costing you on average an extra £1700-£1900 per year, then find out that MPs have received a pay rise of £2200 per year.
Congestion charges in London, plus ulez charges for driving in outer london costing £12.50 per day ulez or £30 per day Congestion charges as the government wants everyone to buy new or electric cars, or use public transport, but the priminister is coffer driven from 10 downing Street to house's of Parliament which is a 10 minute walk....literally. |

People visiting your frontdoor. Apart from family/friends and post deliveries I'd be very wary of them. Not happened for a few years but one example is I had 2 characters wanting to come in and discuss "home security". They were very insistant but I sent them on their way. Somebody with a less forceful attitude might have let them in. In fact, I cannot recall it ever being to my advantage to speak to anyone I did not know on the doorstep. |

Rex Holes.
He's so sweet and lovely and knows all the right things to say to hit that sweet spot. And then you meet him and he steals your money and fingers your bumhole with his weird dry dandruff flaked fingers.
