That's been one of my guilty pleasures for more years than I care to remember, but I've always just had my fun with them, and then up the road with them, no pun intended, when there was a profit to be made. |

I want an every day user
With second hand prices so high, if I'm spending 3-5k on a runabout, I might as well have something that stands out rather than a 12 year old Micra or similar |

I've got a thing for classics. Although restoring a more modern car currently.
A phase 1 2.0 alfa GTV. He's 27 and suffering paint fade, and has a running issue but no rot or rust.
Should have him on the road for summer |

I've got 3/4 of a Jensen Interceptor that I've been gradually restoring over the last 12 years or so.
Have had to learn from scratch how to do things so I've quite often found myself going back to previous bodges and re-doing them, and I've had afew periods of no time or no money when the project has lain fallow.
Give it another 12 years and I might be done .... but by then I won't be able to buy the petrol to put in it, or I'll need a mortgage to go to the shops (does about 8MPG on a good day) |
