Whether you feel his actions were appropriate or not his award was for his performance in the film. Just ban him for future ceremonies or force him to watch a bunch of Steven Seagal movies instead. |

That's how I have felt.
Also anything else and it just makes it drag on in the news even longer than it already has... |

I think he should only receive a suspension unable to attend until the suspension period is over but still be able to receive his rewards but not in person.since it was only once people either learn or continue. |

I think it was an amazing publicity stunt on his behalf! Then had to win everyone back by getting emotional and crying. He does deserve his Oscar but his actions weren’t acceptable x |

Oscar ratings had been falling so they needed to do something to get more people interested |

"Update he's been banded for 10 years attending the Oscars .
I think that's harsh. "
I don't.
He physically assaulted someone live on stage.
What I think is harsh is his actions took away the attention of all the other winners. |

I agree. Should be lifetime ban.
First blind man to get his Oscar on the same night but not many ppl know that.
Sameul L Jackson got an Oscar as well.
Its all about Will on the night though.
He will let ppl fuck his wife but not joke about her...odd person.

Some people need a slap, although people from Scotland would rip the persons arm off and slapped him with his own hand. Luckily violence is never the answer. |

The USA is a country with a vibrant gun culture where school and workplace massacres are commonplace. Despite this nothing is done to exercise any control over the matter.
In this context an over emotional man slapping another is in reality of little consequence. True, he should not have done it, but to make an example of him by taking away an award for his work is excessive. I understand he has been banned from the Oscars ceremony for 10 years. |

"Or not "
Woukd you take Lionel messi’s multiple Ballon D’or trophies away, if he punched Ronaldo on the nose?
No, you probably wouldn’t.
You’d actually probably give him a big shiny medal and a little certificate for him having “the smuggest smile in history”. |

Personally I would have not given him the Oscar. But since they did, to strip him of it after the fact would be difficult. The runner up who then received the award wouldn't have received it at the ceremony, would feel cheap to them as they didn't actually win. They could probably get a bit extra on their next contract.
So kicked out and banned would be the only choice. I'd make it lifetime though. |

Maybe he should be banned too
Surely it’s no longer acceptable to take the piss out of someone based on their looks - especially in respect of their health conditions - in this case her Alopecia |

I think a 10 year ban is sufficient. I also think the Oscars should go back to having proper presenters rather than mediocre comedians and comediennes who try to get cheap laughs at the expense of others.

They ignore guns in schools and Hollywood people doing dodgy things with people we can't discuss. |

Ten years is a fair old chunk of his life and career especially as studios have dropped him as well.
The social media video released/surfaced this week of Jada and Will interacting at home makes for weird/uncomfortable viewing. And now the third person in this relationship has re-released his song mentioning Jada. |
