Not yet met anyone off the forums. It's unlikely that I would get into a conversation and arrange a meet with a fellow forumite without recognising them and already having formed an opinion of their views/posts. Doubt I'd check a person who I didn't know to be a forum user to see if they had ever posted though.

I don’t check out what they post, seems like a lot of work. If I fancy them, I’ll tell ‘em. If they fancy me, we’ll possible bump fun parts at some point.

-You can only search for words within titles on this forum, so no one can realistically do this anyway, not unless they post all the time (in which case you'd probably know them). I expect that if you could do a member's-post search though, people would actually be tempted in some instances. Better not knowing maybe, in some cases. - |

If I saw someone in the local-area forum (where meet requests are most likely as they actually seem originally designed for them), I'd feel pretty tempted to click on that green arrow link I must say! |
