"Home made crinkle cut chips, deep fried, with a little salt.
If you're going to the chip shop then covered in grated cheese. Yummy "
Crinkle cut chips saw you plummet in my estimation, but saved yourself with cheesy chips |

Does it change things if I say I also like chips with mayonnaise? |

"I don't really like chips
You call yourself a northerner? Next you’ll tell me you don’t like racing pigeons."
Don't worry, I feed my pigeons and whippets chips and gravy |

"Chip shop chips and curry sauce oh yes"
My favourite. There's a chippy I used to go to that used to do different flavour curry sauces, fruity, chinese, korma, madras and vindaloo. Absolute bloody heaven. |

Game changer...after many years living in the Fatherland I can no longer eat 'pommes ohne mayo'; 'immer pommes mit mayo bitte'.
Eating pommes without mayo would be like a fry up without bacon! |

But do you like Crown Green bowls (not the all-white-wearing flat version the softie shandy-suppers play!) on a wet n windy Wednesday night!? |

YES! Fist pump.
She’s well trained lol.
More like me who’s the trained one. "
Ah either way lucky you. Chippy for tea is always a winner. |

chip shop chips cooked in animal fat are the best but are rare to find nowadays and all chip shop chips seem rather pricey too.
Crinkle cut though are my winners though, reminds me of the home made ones my nana use to make which were, of course, cooked in beef fat. |

"Chips are the ultimate in fine dining.
What’s your favourite type of chip, what’s your favourite thing with them.
For me it’s chip shop chips, lots of salt and vinegar and gravy.
"
Gravy?
Curry sauce instead.
Or Chinese bbq sauce or salt and pepper chips for the Chinese. |
