Fresh mussels in a sauce. Sitting eating them in a restaurant on the harbour side, they always taste better. Really can't wait to do this later in the year. |

Grilled sardines or whitebait or any fish really, a little aioli, a nice mixed salad, a few olives, a glass or two of wine and listening to the sea waves as they come up to the edge of my favourite restaurant. |

"In chip shops Dogfish is usually called Rock (or Rock eel/salmon ) ...presumably because it doesn’t sell so well as Dogfish in a nation of dog lovers "
We used to go scuba diving and someone brought one up. It actually has puppy dog eyes so we threw it back. |

Love a bit of rock salmon as we called it when I was growing up in Croydon. I’m in the midlands now and we don’t seem to have it around these parts. |

We love Italy and the food is always great…except…
One our honeymoon the hotel served on the first night fish tails with sprouts! I mean wtf ?
Plus it had a buffet table you helped yourself to. But the place was full of British pensioners who ravaged it before you had chance.
Still Sardinia was the best. Hotel served top notch grub.
Rome was great as well. In one very average restaurant on a side street, Stewart Copeland sat next to us with a girlfriend. |
