With Halloween fast approaching, I was wondering what everyone's thoughts/fears were when it comes to trick-or-treaters.
Will you be out, holed up with the lights off or do you happily open the door and give sweets to all who knock?

We WILL usually give stuff to those who have put effort into their costumes (no hoodies and masks!), but as someone who has had my house egged even after giving sweets and had some teenagers try and force their way into the house when my Grandad opened the door and they demanded money, I know that a lot of people are put off answering at all. x |

It's a big thing on the estate where I live a lot of people put effort into carving pumkins and decorating their houses.
My kids go trick and treating but its supervised and strict rules only to go to people they know or people with pumpkins out.
We've never had any trouble and I do like to carve a pumpkin myself !!!
