Nurture strength of spirit to shield you in sudden misfortune. But do not distress yourself with dark imaginings. Many fears are born of fatigue and loneliness.
Beyond a wholesome discipline, be gentle with yourself. You are a child of the universe no less than the trees and the stars; you have a right to be here.
And whether or not it is clear to you, no doubt the universe is unfolding as it should.

Sometimes the fear of the unexpected can be overwhelming and overshadow the ‘really amazing’ event. Recognise you’re feeling wobbly, it’s ok to wobble.
Take your mind off things with favourite film or listen to your favourite album, paint or exercise. Clear your mind and re focus.
Hope you feel brighter tomorrow x

Aww Lorna, sorry to hear you're feeling a little low atm. As you say it's out of your control and once your mind accepts that you will be able to let it go.
I'm recuperating post surgery and my mind is alert but my body is weak and I am feeling frustrated. I am usually such an active person but this is making me stop and rest, which I know is what my body needs but my brain just needs to switch off a little. I am used to having others depend on me and I am finding it hard to be dependent on others even when they want to help and look after me.

The biggest problem is I feel guilty for feeling low because there's so many things to be so very thankful for and to look forward to. |

-It sounds like it could be apprehension - do you sometimes worry that promising things ahead could go wrong? If that is the case, maybe try not to 'countdown' perhaps, and to concentrate on other things? |

Remove that guilt (said with love obviously). You're entitled to feeling low, feel it. It might hurt a bit but those feelings won't last for ever. Sometimes watching something cathartic can help me give myself that permission to feel sad. Like The Notebook. Or the final episode of Supernatural (admittedly it was a bit bad but tears always happen).
I'm always here for you if you need to offload some of your feelings. x |

Yes absolutely plus other things have happened that have been out of my control that are upsetting and worrying. It's tricky not to have a countdown because it's my wedding day. There are lots of things to do and a timeframe to do them in. |

I know lovely and it's really appreciated. Need to get through the next 4 days I reckon then things will be a little bit more certain about what's happening if that makes sense. X |

-that could be nervous energy too then! The blues may not be that uncommon/ If you are burning too much energy inside it can make you feel down and even feel sick. Try to cheer yourself up (do/watch something you love etc) and eat some superfood maybe, you know - some energy stuff perhaps? Sugar, alcohol and caffeine can buzz you too, but they can also add to the down if it does carry on for you. Hopefully it will pass! |

Thank you so much you definitely have a point. I just can't shake the feeling that something really bad is going to happen. I have no evidence of this or anything to back it up it's just a really uneasy feeling. X |

-If you are truly happy and content with where you are going, then think que sera sara, c'est la vie! But if you have even unidentifiable worries, maybe go over a few details with someone close? Make sure you have it all right in your head? I'm sure you've probably done this before at some point or points anyway, but perhaps she or he could put your active mind at rest. |

Do you know what I think the problem is but for the 1st time in my life I am happy. Now I know that sounds a bit strange but that's why I can't help but think something bad is going to happen which I know is robbing me the joy of now. |

I'm also feeling rubbish - I've been ill for a week (still negative) I'm absolutely exhausted, i look like hell and eyes are red raw /scratchy.... Not how i want to be for my precious meet with Task ahead of the Manchester Social |

Thank you and yes I'm very lucky to have a lot of lovely, supportive people in my life. As I said above I guess that's part of the problem I'm feeling low but then feel guilty because I have "no real reason to do so". |
