I had to have hy9nosis (filters won’t let me type that correctly) to get over my fear of fish so I could go scuba diving.
I also now own a big aquarium

"Nuns freak me out. I am sure some are OK but seen too many films about evil ones. Also worked in a hospital run by nuns when young and they were very unkind to the staff."
Well same here, I remember visiting a hospital run by them in Glasgow some 50+ years ago, I thought they were horrid then and still do to this day

My phobia is for tiny holes… for whatever reason, it really sends my brain crazy. "
Same here, love fish can spend lots of time just watching them.
But what about the holes? In what sorts of holes? Could you give example? |

"I have a serious phobia of lightening
and polystyrene packaging!"
As in a fear of them or they just give you the willies?
I hate the sound of people brushing their teeth but it's not really a phobia. |

Aren't phobias in general unusual and irrational?"
