I am way below average which makes things challenging but you know what, just means I have to work harder and the way I see it is that if people are not interested then that is there choice. I see people way better looking than me and sometimes when you get chatting realise you are not a match. Everyone is different and has different likes so don't stress over it. |

It's all subjective and what you are using as a start base. Parameters are different for different people so you are going to get a myriad of responses
I prefer to say we are all unique, nobody else on the planet like our individual selves....Does that make us average?
I personally don't like these labels, can we not just be enough as we are

I think it's recognising a difference between quantifiable attributes (height, weight, IQ score etc) and who a person 'is'.
Personally I don't have an issue with it as while I believe thinking about ourselves and others as beings distinct from our physical presence, I also believe that this doesn't reflect reality. We are only blobs of matter so any words that can usefully describe any other objects can be applied to us. This is not a common view and most think of humans as something more than the physical matter they're made from and therefore prefer language that more accurately reflects this belief.

OP I'm not sure, I'm above average height, below average density of body hair, on a global scale significantly above average in wealth, health and use of resources, massively below average in my chances of being killed due to civil unrest. Maybe the rate of my toenail growth?
