Can my status be seen...

Interesting... I changed my status a few days ago, (forgetting my profile is hidden), and got a message about it from someone. They're local but not on my friends list.
I was wondering how they could see it. |

I think it come up on the "Local Updates" section, but the status is all you can see, if you click on the profile you get the "This profile is hidden" message.

Could they have hotlisted you... I think you get the status updates from people on your hotlist. Not sure about when the profile is hidden though |

Could they have hotlisted you... I think you get the status updates from people on your hotlist. Not sure about when the profile is hidden though"

Not sure to be honest as I never look at the local updates....but if you have someone hotlisted you can see their status messages at the top of the hotlist page and I am guessing if you updated it before you hid it it will show.  |

Have updated my status, can anyone on my friends list tell me, please, if it shows in your friends list updates?
If anyone wants to hotlist me to test that, I'm curious to hear the results of that too please. |

It is - I added her to hotlist and can see her staus i.e. "Testing whether my status can be seen when my profile is hidden. Can you see this? " |

On the mobile interface, the button at the top labelled updates shows profile updates of friends, local people and hotlisted people. Does it not show in the hotlisted section? |
