This is as if they saw a show called 'Swing' made by Playboy TV which is essentially Open House but with better sex in it and couples that actually know what they're doing.
Open House isn't very good. Looks like people just after 5 minutes of fame. If you want something like this but so much better, as mentioned earlier, look up a series called 'Swing' by Playboy TV, it's out there and easy to find. |

Nosied on twitter, some wanting to go , some saying he was ready to end the relationship when he wasn’t having a good time, gaslit his girlfriend, then he got his end away and wants to carry on in future |

It was a better program than the usual dros. Swinging is normally ridiculed in any documentary I've seen. At least there was nobody walking round in an animal mask like the last dogging one they did. That lad with his young girlfriend was a bit self centred though, never have one ounce of thought to what his he was feeling of wanted. I guess they've joined FAB, by the comments at the end.I'll be watching the next one |

What does it matter what they look like?
Unfortunately there's probably some kind of research around younger, attractive (although surely attraction is subjective, I personally don't find what most people call attractive attractive, I like my men dirty looking like Jay Kay from Jamiroquai or Russel Brand) people pull in better viewing figures than middle aged, averagely attractive, slightly pumper around the middle people like myself
As far as im aware it is still reality TV what happens when they put a bunch of sexually inquisitive people in a big house together for a few nights, with some break the ice games etc
If it opens up conversations, helps breaks the taboo, even if its not a true representation of swinging & poly relationships (does it claim to be) there's some positives to be taken surely, if a couple are questioning if there's something wrong with them because they want to invite someone into their bedroom & this show shows them that they aren't oddballs destined to ruin their relationship surely that's a good thing
I should add I haven't watched it yet but I do plan to |

Im still laughing at the big welsh dude with the curly hair who had a hissy fit because his girlfriend was more having fun with another female and he didnt know how to join in. I think he even had a little cry while another woman had her tongue in his gf's pussy!! |

She should have been more in tune with how he was reacting to the situation.

Such a lovely level of understanding and acceptance If you’re in a couple then you shouldn’t be binning the other one off at the hint of a problem and still get your end away. Pretty sure if it was the other way round and the girl wasn’t ‘feeling it’ people wouldn’t be saying he should have still cracked on regardless |

That Welsh guy treated his girlfriend horribly. He made her cry and was talking about dumping her. She deserves better than him. |

"It was such a rubbish show but can’t wait until the next episode
We can’t work out if the residents were employed or actors etc. "
I think they are just wannabes, one of the guys was on the apprentice, one of the girls was on the circle
I actually quite enjoyed the show but then I love all reality/car crash tv it's my guilty pleasure
I liked the fact they showed the downside, the welsh guy not being able to perform, feeling left out the jealousy & hinting at an argument between the other couple, not that I want to see arguments but I expected them to only show the rosy side, or only show the women getting upset / jealous |

We have watched it but even when we don't do party's I'm sure they don't always have 20 somethings only there. One lad does look like he was on the apprentice a few years ago
It's not a swingers program but it does cover weather you as a new couple are ready for the scene or not. |

Watched it the other night and was so surprised when couples who have serious trust issues (cheating) were invited to do this for 'entertainment'
It didn't look fun at all and surely, you sort out your issues before involving anyone else |

Somewhere off the edge of the map... 'ere there be monsters |
Hmm. A bit surprised at the amount of judgement in this thread. Also surprised at the amount of misconception about what this show is actually about, and therefore what it ISN'T supposed to be a 1-for-1 depiction of... i.e. swingers and a swinging club. It's merely about people in ENM, or open relationships, and bringing in newbies for a try-out. And also, I've seen plenty of profiles on here that look just like the people and the couples on the show. Seems like many have a bee in their bonnet over something that isn't really an issue, or the focus.
Just my two pennies. *shrug* |

Isolating the people away from their partners, especially when some of them have felt insecure about their relationship, is not cool if you ask me. It's done to build drama for TV. |

Not the best program but if u can get past the gorgeousness and staged fakeness
It did give a bit off an insight and tbh it hasn’t worked out for any of the couples
The welsh guy think he regretted it and uncomfortable with situation next night the 2 women constantly blew smoke up his arse to pamper to his ego
Bolton couple she looked as though she was on a knife edge and he was still banging in about an affair she had years ago
Last night guy who wanted to watch gf with guy the only thing he seemed into was kissing the other guy
At the end said he was more aware and comfortable with who he is
Got the impression he wanted to go bi but never said

It’s a very strange programme.
Once again it looks like TV are showing non monogamy as something ‘damaged’ couples do. An attempt to fix something, when in reality it’s just another way to have fun.
We’ve come to the conclusion that they’ve had to use the couples they have used because there weren’t any normal ones who applied. The angry couple from episode one and the young guy and girl from the last episode should never have got through vetting. The young couple didn’t know what they wanted, the young guy especially probably has to work through his own sexuality.
We’ll still watch the next episode though |

"The hyena type guys that absolutely love themselves are exactly the sort of people we tend to avoid!"
They're all arseholes.
What makes my blood boil, is that the sex expert splits up the couple's and makes them go on dates as individuals. That's not how it should be done in such a high pressure environment for newbies. It's negligence |

Agree. The expert seems to push them to more than they are comfortable with.
Couple set rules, 1 of them breaks rules….. expert tells them to get rid of all rules. |

I felt sorry for her. She clearly only went with it because her husband wanted to. She gave it a go and decided it wasn't from her. The final line from him though shows what a test he is |

Yeah, couples come in saying they want to try things together, so they get sent off separately and then have jealousy issues that likely wouldn’t have happened if they did something together like they said they wanted! |

I think it could be an OK show format if it had a therapist that genuinely listened to what these couples have said they want and with better vetted couples.
Right now the format is:
Therapist: So why are you here?
Woman: He wants an MFF and I'm not so sure but willing to try. (By the way we only want to play together and have previous unresolved trust issues with each other.)
Therapist: Well in that case I'm sending you on separate socials so one or both of you can get really insecure and have a miserable time.
Male: Also, could we set boundaries for our socials and then i explore none of them at all so I can lord it over my other half when she follows the rules and does more than me?
Therapist: Of course you can, let's roll the dice on your relationship!
Woman: Wait what?
Therapist: No more talking. To the sex yurts!

I'd agree. The therapise doesn't seem to care about the couples. If they did, there is no way she'd be sending them off to single meets. |

Sorry to drag this one up from the past, but I've been watching recently and wanted to chip in.
I wonder why about half if those couples are there. It seems that usually the man is more into opening up than the woman. Sometimes neither of them seem to know what they want and aren't enjoying it.
Why does that sex and relationship therapist keep sending couples who want to explore together keep separating them? She even does this with couples who talk about having jealousy and trust issues. It seems a bit bonkers to me. Many couples in here (including us) only do these things together. The therapist doesn't seem to consider that at all. It's presumably done more for the sake of the programme than the couple, which I don't find very ethical.
I guess they have a limited number of people who would go on TV to do this, and they have a particular type they want to show, so their numbers must be limited. Maybe that's part of it.
The narrator has an annoying voice (or as she would say it, voish) and talks as if it's an utterly amazing thing that people do this. We're way ahead of you, dear. |
