I definitely prefer the more sedate collins definition

"She was a thin, stooped woman with wens on her face, a bluish complexion and strands of loose, lichenous hair that blew about in the breeze."

It's from On The Black Hill by Bruce Chatwin.

I don't see pictures in my head but I think I'd recognise that woman
