So, interested to know when you’re going to a club with your FB/FWB how you split the cost if the entry is Couples £30 / single ladies £15 / single guys £60 |

"Surely £15 each "
This is where I’m feeling mixed, on the one hand yes 50/50 is fair - you save nothing either way, but by going with you they save £45 |

I pay for club/event entries for us and anyone we invite along.
However, re the question asked, are you suggesting the M should pay the £30 and save himself £30 and the F £15?
It depends on the relationship you have with that person, how they feel about paying for it all or how they feel having their entry paid for. |

Look at it this way, you comfortable to be with this person intimately have this person inside you, but it makes you question on helping that person save £15?
The important letter in FB and FWB is the F. |

I would never expect anyone to pay the full entry and thinking £15 each or £10/£20 split. It makes little to no difference to me I just wondered what others did. |

You might not necessarily have been intimate. You might be meeting the single guy as a favour.
Same scenario but what if it was only £10 for a single female....would the 50/50 female still be willing to pay half? |

"I find a single girl and go as a couple.
Then once in fuck her off.
Boom, £30 saved.
Or just pop up every so often for a glass of her vodka "
I forgot what she looks like. |

Ah the old club entry price debate. How I've missed it.
Single guys should pay as it cost less to take a single woman and go as a couple.
Both should split the cost as that's the fairest option.
Ooh - isn't it outrageous how much single men are charged.
Pick any of the above.
The one response you'll never see is that the woman should pay for them both.
A
*and I've been in that situation with a FWB and she was happy to pay and I was happy to let her as we were friends and took turns paying for all manner of things - hotels, food, drinks....so why not club entry? |

I'd say it depends on the nature or depth of relationship with your FB/FWB and circumstances. But as a rule of thumb and to maintain some boundaries (if you wish to) 50/50 seems the best option.
Now you could argue as a woman (in some club scenarios) it's costing you more that way than going alone and thus not fair. But the way I see it your going as a couple because you want to with that bloke, not for economic reasons. And to me as a guy someone going to a club with me with that mindset would be a big red flag for me.

"Personally if we were both going to go anyway I'd offer to pay the lot as I'm still getting a massive saving "
But you’re not.
You’re £15 out of pocket now.

How? If I was going to pay 60 (I wouldn't be willing to pay that price by the way) as a single male 30 quid off is a lot better and a massive saving. |

But you don’t have to pay £60 if you’re going with somebody, so that amount becomes irrelevant.
If you’re going as a couple and you pay for both then you’re paying £30.
You’re £15 out of pocket if you pay for her.
That’s maths. |

I understand what you're saying but if I find somebody and invite her to a club with me so I don't have to pay 60 I'm making a saving in my opinion I get where you're coming from though. |

If I pay couples entry with my partner we split it 50/50 even if that means I pay more than I would as a single woman.
Be mindful though that some clubs have rules against singles pairing up as couples as a way to get single men in cheaper or when single men are limited. Even if they don't, you're often signing up to only ever come with that person for at least a year unless you pay for a new membership. |
