We have foods that are 'marmite' : some love them, but others detest them
But what about the ones that we ALL love ?
OK, so maybe not all of us, but by far and large, the majority of us !
I will start off with the humble but oh so delicious TOAST ! |

"has to be 'bread' in pretty much any of its various forms..
nearly all people on the planet eat some form of it..
"
Good point
I love it in all it's forms
It's bad news if there is an uncut crusty loaf Chez Bussy.
It has no chance of seeing the next day !
My worst (dietary) nightmare would be to be told I couldn't eat bread. |

I tried for 3 months on the basis it would improve my health, according to the tests. My health did not improve and I felt hugely deprived for the whole three months. The best thing that happened yesterday was I was given a free seeded loaf at choir. |

I had to stop making it... the bread never seemed to make it to being broken with others |

"Sadly I can't have dairy anymore god I miss it "
I bought the hemp 'milk' but I've been too scared to try it. I tried the almond, oat and rice ones and hated all of them.
Are you able to have goats milk? |

"Sadly I can't have dairy anymore god I miss it "
that's my second nightmare after bread
could live without milk in brews etc but it's the yoghurt, the cheese and the eggs that would be the bugger.
funny tho that the thought of not having meat doesn't bother me
does anyone else find that meat bores them after a couple of mouthfulls ?
i have given up ordering steaks, lamb and chicken in restaurants cos i always seem to end up eating a bit and then giving it away or taking it home for the dog |

Three things to bring a smile to my face: singing with others, bread and a freebie. |

Stick with the soya milk. It gets better. I can't have cows' milk so I have soya. It was nasty to begin with but I've adjusted. I still don't exactly like it, but I can tolerate it enough for breakfast cereal and such like. Alpro light is the least foul one I've found. |

I've done a couple of low carb diets.
I miss pasta and potatoes but giving up bread only matters to me in terms of convenience.
This is going to sound daft, but bread is used to hold so many things. A cheeseburger is fine on a low carb diet, except for the bun (and no ketchup - full of sugar). Bacon is allowed, but no bacon butties.
Trying to find food acceptable on a low carb diet, especially when out and about, can require some thought. |
