I’m currently in my Dave/ Kano/ Skepta bag. Tell me your favourite rapper / rappers these days. I want to know what I’m missing.

Don’t come in here slander rap post 90s please. This is not the post for that.

I’m quite partial to Dr Dre. Mainly thanks to an ex who used to play The Chronic and 2001 all the bloody time.

I also have a soft spot for Snoop Dog as I like his rap tone and Ludicrous for the same reason. I also enjoy a bit of Jay-Z. Hard Knock Life is one of my favourite songs.

couple, us we him her.

Not really a fan of much of the British stuff today if I'm honest.

I grew up in the 80's addicted to rap, hip hop and electro.

Over the years my patience with some of the shit out there has left me not really interested.

Maybe it's an age thing but I just don't get the British stuff.

I am however a fan of ok yes I admit big popular American artists.

Kendrick Lamar, busta,( yes I know she's a complete asshole ) I do like Azealia Banks.

Q Tip, abdominal

To name a few.

Nothing really relevant and update I'm afraid.

Some faves of mine are:

Rhyme Asylum - (state of lunacy album is a fave and underrated)

Phi life cypher

Rodney P

Jehst

Taskforce

Chester P

Skinnyman

klashnekoff

Akala as mentioned above

some of the guys in the HF lot are dope (the four owls, jam baxter, dirty dike) Grimey stuff from Flowdan & Jamakabi is cool.

I like a lot of diff styles but do prefer the older styles though, early 2000s UK hip hop vibes.

Naughty by nature - naughty by nature

Rodney p - the future

Biro funk - biro funk

All good albums off the top of my head.
