Does anyone else still do this?

On my weekends off, I love to get all my ingredients together and batch cook. I usually make enough stuff to last me over a month.

So much easier after a 12 hour shift x

Absolutely. Energy saver too. Cook for six, reheat individual portions until it's gone

I only make double. I eat one and freeze the other.

I do a batch cook and my son eats it in one day.

I'm thinking of doing three different recipes and freezing them when my freezer isn't full of meat.

How big is your freezer? What kind of meals do you make?

I used to but never ate any of it. False economy for me. I’d make a tonne of it then constantly eat out!

the middle

I do in the colder months. In the warmer months I have salads with whatever meat I choose (from the freezer) that I have pre cooked, sliced and bagged up for individual meals

I make anything from Mac'n'Cheese to casseroles and soup. Freeze them in like the takeaway rice boxes, I'm lucky to have a stand alone tall freezer so it works for me x

I’ve a large and tall freezer. Which I fill with a selection of curry, chilli, spaghetti sauce base and pasta, cooked breakfasts, roast dinners, mash potato.

Me too!!

Spend all day cooking, then can’t face eating it so ring the chippy instead.

Obvious logic surly.

I used to do this with Sweet potato pie, chilli jam, chicken stew & dumplings. But now i live alone even cooking/baking myself 1 meal from scratch is an effort.
