So, that time has come and I am going to buy something that is a very personal item of every day life....

A new toilet seat.

What are your thoughts please, wood or plastic........ other???

Plastic. The germs will struggle to get into a good plastc/pvc/acrylic one whereas using a traditonal wooden one has a lot of pores which can soak yukky stuff up.

Just make sure you clean it every other day, where as a clean your toilet bowl and lid shut after each flush will help. Put a good bleach!limescale thing down daily. Just my personal prefrence
