The vast majority of the ladies prefer shaved or very closely trimmed. Go for it fella.

Yes, but not all the way, a heavy trim makes you look 'bigger' and consequently smoother...

If it's your first attempt at chopping the forest, I would trim rather than shave. I believe shaving can be tricky for a bloke plus you can get ingrown hairs.
