hiding from cock pics. |
I recently watched burlesque, the one with Cher and Christina Aguilera.
I absolutely loved the outfits and the music. A really enjoyable film and for an extra bonus, Cameron Joslin Gigandet, has joined Jason Momoa as two of the visually most attractive guys I can think of right now.
What slightly older films have you enjoyed and why? |

A film I haven't seen for probably more than 20 years was called "Big Man on Campus"
I don't know if it would appeal now but years ago it had me in tears laughing especially the KFC scene . |

The Unbearable Lightness of Being.
Has new significance given what Russia are doing just now. It also has a young Daniel Day Lewis, a young & gorgeous Juliette Binoche.
It’s quite horny in parts.
Thoroughly recommend. |

So many great movies…
Laura (1944) and The ghost and Mrs Muir (1947) are two that come to mind right now.
Others are The Misfits (1961), Rear Winfow, The Untouchables, Hunt for Red October, etc.
Too many to mention… |

Being a bit of a motoring buff, I still get chills down my spine when I hear matt munro singing days like this at the beginning of "the Italian job" .then I'm glued for an hour and a half to the screen.......otherwise a most gripping film is "no country for old men"........savage character...anton chigur.. |

"Mupetts Christmas Carol Absolute Legend"
What's really cool about the film is that Dickens' scholars actually rate it extremely highly, as it sticks so well to the actual story and puts in a lot of details that other adaptations leave out. |

"The parent trap with Lindsey Lohan, Natasha Richardson and Dennis Quaid.
1998. Now that’s OLD! "
And now watch the 1960s version - that's OLD!
So many good shouts on here - absolutely loved Lost Boys and Demolition Man. That made me think of Con Air and Face Off too.
Different genres, but also love Elizabeth (1998) and When Harry Met Sally (1985??) |

"I love a hammer horror. Or western. I think I’ve seen them all now though
Have you seen Captain Kronos? It was meant to be made into a series, sadly it never happened."
If it didn’t have Peter Cushing or Christopher Lee then I doubt I’ve seen it. |
