I was driving behind....
SM69BVR
...this evening. Anyone else seen an interesting plate, or better still got one ?!!!!
PS. I also hope SM69BVR isn't on here ! LOL   |

My friend got herself a personal reg plate. She had a dog walking business and had named it after her first two dogs (Paddy & Tails) the reg plate was to reflect their names but in initials, last three letters were PTS - more recognised as Put To Sleep, she didn’t realise until I told her, was too late by then. |

According to the DVLA Tax Check PEN15 does not exist.
I know with reg numbers the DVLA are always looking for rude words that could be read in so they can avoid issuing them.
There could well have been a car was pictured with PEN15 on it but it was probably not a real numberplate.  |

If you put it in the Taxed? check it does not recognise it as a real number. |

That could explain it. So the number was given up and not reissued. |

Slightly off topic, in the late 1970s the race car firm I was working at bought a secondhand race car which carried the name of the previous sponser. Penistone Hard Metals, one of the young lads was designated to remove the signwriting, he came back in with a grin on his face saying all done When we viewed the car he had removed just enough letters for the signwriting to read"Penis on Hard" |

I was at Silverstone one year on a test day with my dad. Fiona Richmond was there with some guy and I pointed her out. "Fiona who?" he said. "Fiona Richmond from your Men Only magazines dad!" "Oh, so it is" he said casually. Didn't see her car number though. |

I've got several personalised plates, but one I'm disposing of because it's now surplus to requirements is an original 1956 plate FEJ. I honestly thought about it possibly being someone's initials, or the name of a company, so I googled FEJ only to read in, "Urban dictionary" FEJ definition. abbreviation for female ejaculation! With the sentence in context reading quote, "Last night I went down on my bitch and she FEJED all over my face," all offers considered. |

For anyone that wants a personalised number plate....
It's much cheaper to just change your name by deed poll (£42.44) to whatever is already on your car than it is to buy a new plate that will likely cost hundreds or thousands.
Tune in next week for more money saving tips. That Martin Lewis has nothing on me.......
