Mine has a happy mother's day every day of the week! Although she has vascular dementia, and has been known to rant and rave at people who she imagines are around her, but who have in fact l been dead for years, she's here with me, warm, clean, and protected in comfortable fully adapted and equipped surroundings, fed on the best of food, kept medicated as required, with wheelchair adapted vehicles to take her out in, and I don't take a penny off her. What more could a mum want when she becomes totally dependant, even if it has clipped my wings for a bit, with partying on the back burner for a wee while. |
