Ok.. Here it goes.. there's this girl i've been talking too, and i'm trying to impress her by taking her out for dinner, cooked by Chef De Andy  ! (Myself) I'm going to set a table up, under a nice oak tree in devon, with a jar of roses, fairy lights wrapped around the tree, kinda a first date thing.. we have been friends for years and both liked eachother since we met.. but she had a boyfriend and i had a girlfriend, now that we are both single we still feel the same.. aand i wanna play the guitar to her and sing a song.. but i have no idea what song to choose.. What song would sweep you off your feet?
I have the ideas so far as "Two People Fell In Love - Brad Paisley" or "Cross My Heart - George Strait" but i don't know!!
and yes guys i am being very musshy and romantic..  haha!! |

I think it sounds brill I'm not the soppy type though, I think you should pick a 'tune' she likes and write your own amusing, cheesy lyrics with stuff in it perataining to the two of you.... that would make me laugh and I'd be less likely to just feel ...eeek about it all.

I actually feel that would fit for a "first date", it's not a "BunnyBoilerILoveYouSoMuchYou'reMyLifeIfYouEverLeaveMeI'llKillYou" song and it's not completely impassive of the message either.
If you search "folktwentyosix let me down easy" on Youtube, he's done a pretty amazing cover of it. - It could be just what you're looking for.

We was together for 5 years, had a beautiful son together.. we even had a couples profile on here ha! She was a model! Had to delete it because she ended up with a stalker on here! kinda freaked her out!
