God yes….you don’t know where it’s been or had sprayed on it before you take it off the supermarket shelf and put in your trolley. I also wash any bottles or cans of beer before I drink out of them…..Weils Disease is all I’ll say! |

I never used to until a friend got quite ill after a night on the lash and he was drinking bottled beer all night. The Dr’s told him in all likelihood that’s where he picked it up |

"Nope that’s just a crazy thing to do. If you want to remove and pesticides you have to do more than just wash them"
I was thinking more where has it been, who has handled it, have animals been running over it |

If it has come in packaging you have nothing to work about and if it’s wild then it’s not going to hurt you unless you can see something on it. Just don’t eat ants. They really don’t taste nice |

Yes, although I ate a whole bag of baby plum tomatoes the other day, and couldn’t be arsed washing them.
That’s different to one apple or nectarine though! |

Always. Seen some gross things in greenhouses and seen enough people rummaging through the fruit in supermarkets after coughing, sneezing and seen someone pick their nose before handling some apples too. The amount of times I’ve seen thick cobwebs in the middle of bunches of grapes too even ones in packeting |
