Welcome, you may also like Sorrow and Bliss (Meg Mason) and The Maidens by Alex Michaelides is also good if you have a liking to mythology as well as mystery.

I can recommend Karin Slaughter - fantastic plots where you can’t second guess all the twists and turns in the plot.

We are not done yet. You will need a new suitcase and up your luggage allowance by the time we are done

I love the feel of a real proper paper book but for holidays cant beat the new kindle, read in daylight in the dark is waterproof (perfect for beach, pool or bath) can hold an entire library and weighs less than a paperback.

I know what you mean but not for me. I like to find a little bit of sand in between the pages when I get back. Or even some suntan oil stains

Just read Billy Summers, really good book and a departure from King's normal genre.

Yes, as I said me too. But biggest advantage of kindle is that moment you get a page or two into a book and decide either dont like it or its no 3 in a series or something like that. With a kindle you dont have to go back to the room/suitcase or shop/library, you can just open a different book. At home(except for the bath) always always a real book. On holiday definitely a kindle for me.

To me books are books whatever format they're in but I do like a paper book as opposed to a virtual one if it's a reference book. .

I'm not a big reader of the genres you like op so I don't have any suggestions for you but I hope you enjoy whatever you take to read

If you're not super fussy, get thee to a charity shop with a good book selection. You'll save a lot of money on the books. (I then donate them back. Book rental, lol)
