Just watching SM:TV Live thinking how I’d give that Cat Deeley the best two minutes of her life before checking my Nokia 3310 still has 40% battery life, which is ok because I charged it last week, and then feeding the Tamagotchi before heading out to the pub and hoping my pager doesn’t beep with work.
How’s your 90’s day going? |

You must really have a time machine if you had a 3310 in the 90’s |

Ah this is amazing!
I am going into town today on the 151 bus to meet my friends and go shopping in Etam.
I’ve parted my hair down the middle and twirled the two front bits, and put the teeniest tiny little hair clips on them. I’m wearing my Kappa joggers and as it’s a nice day, a crop top. I’ve put on electric blue eyeshadow and glitter mascara
I’ve got last weeks Sunday chart playing on cassette through my Walkman too, I think Eternal are number one |

I'm confused as to how old you are?
Either one hell of a childhood or a slightly sad adulthood. |

Oh wow.....
I'd be getting ready to go to the local rave record shop to collect the latest fliers to plaster over my bedroom wall. Collect my coach and entry tickets for the friday's slinky and check out the djs showcasing that weeks new music. Then off shopping to find new dance outfits before going home to get ready for a night out in town with my mates |

If it was a friday night in the mid 90's I'd be fucking about with the coat hanger aerial on my crappy portable TV so I could watch Eurotrash for a possible glimpse of some boobs or bush so I could wank myself silly |

I’m already at work for the 12th day in a row, I’m knackered, my work buddies are knackered. But we’re looking forward to the night on the lash later at whichever town we’re bedding down in. Beers, kebabs, babes.

Such a good phone. Typing your own ringtones in, having an adidas logo on the home screen, snake 2, wrapping a ransom note around it and throwing it through a window… Great times |

Kind of this but without the beers, kebabs or babes, and probably not even in this country or continent! |

Depends what year of the 90s we're talking. By 91 I had a daughter so rest of the decade dominated by that. Pre-91 don't remember a lot, booze related memory loss. |

I would be out during the day raising money or be a first aider at events.
Playing pc in the eve, waiting for the screech that was the dialler to get on the web, for educational purposes obviously. |

Mainly either getting ready for or recovering from the weekends rave (or indie club if early 90's), having more money than sense which i'll kind of waste on stuff i don't really need, instead of being sensible and buying the house i live in off the landlord (he wanted £75k which i though was ludicrous...its now worth about £375k ).
If i'd have also bought a few shares in Apple back then, i'd now be sat on a yacht somewhere warm, instead of working stupid hours for a millionaire cockwomble |

Early/mid 90’s Friday night drinking Diamond White or MD20/20 down the park smoking Embassy No1.
Shoving polos down my gob and spritzing with body shop fuzzy peach perfume to ‘hide’ the smell of smoke from my folks.
Back home to watch the Word.

Just waking up after a heavy night out, and chucked the radio on to listen to the football. As it's Saturday, I'll probably have work later, followed by a late night visit to The Cotton Club. |

"Leaving the house on Friday evening to go to the ministry of sound and not getting home until Monday sometime.
Global hypercolour t-shirts.
Let's get mental in the house....."
Can remember (yes I can) my first visit to the ministry...
Walking to the "bar"...
"Can i have 3 pints of beer please?"
"sorry we don't serve alcohol.. You can have a bottle of water or coffee."
..looking round the room at everyone who was absolutely off their nut...
Rather naively I asked..
"
Q.." well what have that lot been drinking? "
A shrug from the barman... |

The last great decade before the world went a bit mental I remember the panic about the millennium bug and it seems that it was simply a great decade to be alive especially in the uk the whole music scene Cool Britannia I suppose I just didn’t really appreciate how good it was at the time or perhaps I’m looking through rose tinted spectacles ? |

No, it was pretty fucking epic compared to the sanitised corporate bolox churned out now. We also had the MOR shite, but there were so many contrasting scenes and genres producing top quality tunes. |
