They didn't really sell that in Holland so I had to develop a new taste! They had some stouts but few and far between. Jupiler is quite a nice drop if you happen across it

Ah Amstel is brewed near Amsterdam and the pint you get there is proper strength 5.2% not the pish we get here (they sell that as Amstel blonde but even that is nicer than the stuff we brew here under licence)
Hertog Jan isn't a bad drop. Orangeboom is imported so again better than the UK made stuff. Belgian Stella and it's cheaper equivalent Maes is actually a reasonable drink. |
