Yes, my knee is throbbing and swollen after I clumsily fell over a small wall the other night.

What do you recommend to soothe and what injury have you sustained recently?

Deep heat and a compression bandage. I burst my calf muscle. Bruised like an old leather setee and bloody painful. Only just right now after 3 months.

I thought the answer to most swelling was a bag of frozen peas? Just a tip though - it’s not great for throbbing willies.

Not deep heat for swelling yes for brushing but not swelling… needs icing, and an X-ray if it’s still swollen after a couple days.

Me? Keep getting winded with a pain in my side, and hallucinating

Go for a X-ray…. "

I don't think it's bad enough to use up valuable NHS time yet. If it gets much worse I'll maybe ring my gp

I've done all of the above for strains and sore muscles. I also use a freeze spray from Boots.
